We are partnering with a well-respected School District in Peyton, CO that is looking for a highly-motivated and passionate Speech Therapist (SLP) for an onsite contract position for the remainder of the 23/24 school year. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment and work in a fast paced setting. The client is seeking a candidate available for full time hours. They would prefer someone with previous School, Early Childhood, or Pediatric Experience. The schedule will be full-time, 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday (40 per week). This is an immediate need and the client is actively interviewing. The assignment is for elementary students and includes providing direct therapy, attending individualized education program meetings (IEPs), writing IEP reports, performing assessments and screenings, working closely with other members of the Special Education Department. The school district is currently on a distance learning model, so teletherapy should be expected. If they return to the physical classroom, candidates will be expected to return in person as well.
