The position is in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting that serves a broad regional population. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team that focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care for adults and geriatric patients. The facility supports a strong rehab culture where therapists are valued members of the care team and have the opportunity to influence patient outcomes, participate in care planning, and collaborate closely with nursing, physicians, and other allied health professionals. In this role, you can expect to evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, general deconditioning, and other complex medical conditions common in a skilled nursing environment. Your day will typically include completing comprehensive OT evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy services, and documenting progress in the EMR. Interventions often focus on ADL retraining, functional mobility, upper extremity strengthening, cognitive and safety training, and home or discharge planning. A standard schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts each week (5x8s) for a total of 40 hours, with some weekend coverage required as part of the team’s rotating schedule. This provides predictable full-time hours while still allowing for work-life balance and time to explore all that the Great Falls area has to offer.
