Generally, the OT will address motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions that impact a student’s academics, self-care skills, play, and social participation, as well as transitional skills. Responsibilities for this role include: Partner with the district as a member of a collaborative team to help students achieve their academic goals. Screen and evaluate students referred to Occupational Therapy. Appropriately collect data and report findings. Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services as required. Maintain accurate documentation and billing per district and state standards.
