Mammographer needed in San Diego, CA Applicants must have a proof of formal education in breast imaging and hold an ARRT(M) certification. Screening and diagnostic experience is mandatory, along with a California Mammography license. Candidates should have completed 15 CEUs in breast imaging in the last three years. Experience in stereotactic procedures and needle localization are recommended though not mandatory. The Mammography Technologist 2, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs advanced Breast Imaging procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE JOBPerforms high quality Breast Imaging procedures according to exam protocol, in a timely manner.
