At least 2 years of experience as an EEG technician Brief Performs Setup and preparation of equipment supplies for ordered test. BLS provider credentialed by the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to start Credentialed as a Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (R.EEG.T) or board eligible by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) standards.

Advanced skills needed: · Experience monitoring continuous video EEG monitoring with ability to identify abnormal EEG waveforms and escalate to physician for immediate review. · Experience working with elective EMU patients. · Experience monitoring stereo EEG’s preferred Floating policy: Do not float to other units, We do perform EEG’s at Heart & Spine hospital. Patient Experience requirements: Must be able to use critical thinking to offer the best care for each patient. We work closely with other departments and care-givers to perform the tests at the patient’s bedside.
