Travel Echo Tech jobs in Norfolk, VA let you work in a vibrant coastal city at a facility with advanced cardiac service lines and a collaborative, patient-focused culture. You will perform two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal, and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Experience with writing preliminary reports is required, along with proficiency on Phillips IE33 and EPIC equipment. To qualify, you must hold either the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential, have at least 1 year of travel experience, and demonstrate expertise in TEE and stress echo procedures. The schedule is five 8-hour day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, with weekend shifts and call every third week. Call is a week at a time, with rare call-ins, and you will have off the Friday before and Monday after weekend shifts.
