The typical caseload is approximately 40–45 students, providing a manageable and diverse range of needs that supports both clinical growth and quality of care. This is an onsite-only position; teletherapy is not available. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with an expected 37.5 hours per week. The candidate will only be paid for hours actually worked, and will not be paid during school holidays, closures for teacher workdays, or inclement weather days. The school calendar includes scheduled breaks during the academic year, such as early October, late November, late December through early January, mid-February, and late March through early April, providing periodic downtime and opportunities for rest and travel. In this role, you will provide speech and language services to K–5 students, including screening, evaluation, and intervention for a variety of communication needs. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs), track progress, and collaborate with teachers and families to support students’ success in the classroom. The caseload will include articulation, language, and other communication disorders typically seen in a school-based population, giving you broad exposure to common pediatric speech-language needs. A typical day will involve a mix of direct therapy sessions, consultation with teachers, documentation, and participation in team meetings. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students’ academic and social development. Responsibilities for this role include conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
