This is a school-based Travel Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) opportunity in a K–12 setting located in Fryeburg, Maine. The assignment is a full-time, Monday–Friday position, with an expected schedule of approximately 35 hours per week. You will be paid only for hours actually worked. The traveler will not be paid for school holidays, teacher workdays, or days when school is closed for inclement weather, in alignment with school operations. You will support students across K–12 grades under the supervision of a BCBA or other designated clinical supervisor. Your typical day will include implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, supporting students in classrooms and small-group or 1:1 settings, and helping students increase independence and educational engagement. You will collect and record accurate behavior and skills acquisition data throughout the day, assist with reinforcement systems, and support teachers and staff in applying behavior strategies within the classroom routine. The caseload may include students with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and other behavioral or learning needs. You may rotate between classrooms or work intensively with a smaller number of students, depending on the school’s needs. Collaboration is a key part of the role; you will work closely with teachers, special education staff, related services providers, and your supervising clinician to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed. The school community emphasizes a supportive, team-based approach. As a traveler, you can expect to be integrated into established systems and routines, with guidance from experienced educators and clinical staff.
