After procedures, you may assist with patient transport, procedure documentation, equipment turnover, and room setup for the next case. The cath lab emphasizes coordinated workflow and clear communication, with a culture that encourages asking questions, sharing expertise, and supporting one another in high-acuity situations. Patient volumes and case mix may vary by day, but you can expect a blend of scheduled procedures and time-sensitive add-ons.
