Travel Cath Lab Tech jobs in Galveston, Texas require an Associate of Science degree or completion of a Cardiovascular Tech program, one year of procedural area experience including Cath, IR, and EP, proficiency in Impella, and experience with structural heart cases such as TAVR, Watchman/Amulet, PFO, Mitral Clip, as well as implanted medical devices like PPM and IABP, defibrillators (ICDs), and ablation procedures. Monday – Friday, 10-hour shifts (40-hrs per week); On Call 10-14 days per schedule including weekends and holidays You must hold an ARRT license, be a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) through the Texas Department of Health, and have BLS/ACLS certification through the American Heart Association. You will operate the EPIQ ultrasound machine and support physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, monitor patients, and maintain equipment.
