Outpatient: Approximately 60-70% pediatrics (all diagnoses and ages) and 30-40% adults (mostly post stroke or other neuro diagnoses). Usually 1 outpatient MBSS per week. Inpatient: We have very few patients in our inpatient setting who require SLP, but the most common diagnoses are acute stroke or other neuro conditions (all adults). Rarely to never do we have pediatric patients for SLP in acute care.
