Lead the Future of Pharmacy Services with Ballad Health as the Corporate Director of Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services!The Position
  • The Corporate Director of Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services will lead and manage the strategic direction of the health system outpatient pharmacies (5), specialty pharmacies (3), home infusion pharmacy (1) and medication management (MTM) clinic services.
  • Reporting to the Chief Pharmacy Officer, this leader will oversee a team of five FTEs.
  • This leader will be responsible for completing a comprehensive assessment of all retail pharmacy operations. In collaboration with the Specialty Pharmacy Director, they will evaluate and execute the development of a central fill station. Additionally, this leader will assess the pharmacy-led weight loss center and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) clinic.
  • The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in the field of Ambulatory Pharmacy with strong business acumen. They must be a goal-driven, hands-on leader who thrives with minimal oversight. This individual should possess deep expertise in compliance, demonstrate strong self-awareness, and actively seek opportunities for improvement. A passion for continuous learning and professional growth is essential.
  • Experience across retail, specialty, and medication therapy management (MTM) pharmacy services is essential for success in this role.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy; PharmD required and Master's degree in Business Administration or Management is preferred.
  • Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an active Tennessee Pharmacy License.
  • BCPS or BVACP certification required.
  • A minimum of eight years of progressive leadership experience, including at least three years as a clinical coordinator in a similar setting. Must also have three years of direct supervision experience with front-line staff.
