Your commitment is equal to the length of the assignment you agree to take. For travel assignments, this is typically 13 weeks, but can vary to be either longer or shorter depending on the facility’s needs. For example, if you work a travel assignment in a school setting, these contracts typically follow the school calendar and can reach 9 months in length.
Yes! AMN happily provides our clinicians with competitive housing or a monthly stipend they can use towards their own housing arrangements. You can choose from pre-arranged corporate housing options or a monthly stipend they can use toward their own accommodations. This is considered to be a part of the clinician’s overall compensation package.

Yes. You can earn a referral bonus of $1,000 for every school or medical clinician referral, and $2,000 for each school psychologist referral. Yes. Many of our school and facility partners hire local healthcare professionals, along with opportunities for teletherapy assignments that allow you to work from home. Your recruiter will know if the assignment in which you’re interested is eligible for local travel.
