The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supported through the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. The framework for practice is steered by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice and research. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by the Wellstar Values.

The campus, located in Clyde, is also home to the 54,000 square foot Haywood Regional Health and Fitness Center, and the 44,000 square foot Outpatient Care Center (includes the outpatient surgery center, laboratory, imaging center and physician practices). Labor and Delivery unit includes 5 LDRP’s, 1 Observation, 2 Triage. Baby Friendly Designated Hospital; Leap Frog Best Maternity Hospital 65 bed community hospital located in the foothills of western NC mountains. Complete with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, Marion’s historic Main Street District is home to many shops, restaurants, and annual festivals. 35 minutes east of Asheville.

Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable ? Region 3 – Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH) ? If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) ? Orient
