    Bloomberg Gender Equality Index

    AMN Healthcare is proud to be part of the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), which distinguishes companies committed to transparency in gender reporting and advancing women's equality. Bloomberg's standardized reporting framework offers public companies the opportunity to disclose information on how they promote gender equality across four separate areas – company statistics, policies, community engagement and products and services. This framework is the only international standardized reporting and disclosure method for workplace gender data.


    Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index (CEI)

    AMN Healthcare was named for the second year to the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index (CEI) premier benchmarking survey in the U.S. for corporate policies and practices relating to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality. The 2019 CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.     CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion

    CEO Action

    The CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion project is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Bringing together some of the world’s leading companies and business organizations, its goal is to leverage individual and collective voices to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

    Susan Salka, Chief Executive Officer of AMN Healthcare, has joined over 450 other companies in signing the project’s CEO Pledge. The pledge states: 1) We will continue to make our workplaces trusting places to have complex, and sometimes difficult, conversations about diversity and inclusion; 2) We will implement and expand unconscious bias education; 3) We will share best and unsuccessful practices.     The U.S. 30% Club

    30 percent clubAs a part of the U.S. 30% Club, Susan Salka, Chief Executive Officer of AMN Healthcare, has joined over 70 other business leaders committed to achieving better gender balance across all levels of their organization. Founded on the belief that gender balance in the boardroom encourages better governance and contributes to stronger all-around corporate governance, The U.S. 30% Club convenes an influential peer-to-peer network to drive meaningful, sustainable change

    The U.S. 30% Club has also launched a number of initiatives focused on strengthening the pipeline of female directors, by contributing directly to the pool of qualified candidates through its Future Female Directors program, engaging in a strategic partnership with theBoardlist and mentoring mid-career level women across industries. First launched in the UK in 2010, the 30% Club now includes chapters in 14 regions, including Australia, Southern Africa, and Turkey.

    AMN Healthcare has been striving for gender equality for decades, and more recently has been working harder on other areas of inclusion. In the spirit of transparency, here are the AMN numbers as of June 2019:

    • 64% of AMN team members are women
    • 64% of our supervisor through senior manager roles are held by women
    • Executive team includes women as CEO, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Talent Officer, President of Leadership and Search Solutions, and divisional and brand presidents
    • 33% of the Board of Directors are women
    • 31% of the entire team is non white
    • Our team is 56% Millennials, 35% Generation X and 9% Baby Boomers

    Our commitment to diversity also extends to our vendors, contractors, and suppliers. We work to facilitate business partnerships with diverse contractors and suppliers, and partner with national diversity supplier councils including:
