2011 Hospital Clinical Workforce Trends Survey

November 16, 2012

AMN Healthcare, the nation’s inovator of healthcare workforce solutions and staffing, is committed to reporting trends in healthcare staffing and to helping ensure that the supply of healthcare professionals is sufficient to meet the nation’s needs. As part of this effort, AMN Healthcare conducts annual surveys examining various sectors of the healthcare staffing market, including nurse, physician and allied healthcare professional staffing.

AMN Healthcare’s 2011 Hospital Clinical Workforce Trends Survey: A View from the C-Suite is a follow-up to a similar survey conducted in 2009 in collaboration with the Council on Physician and Nurse Supply. The 2011 survey results reflect the thinking of hospital CEOs on their strategic priorities; the current supply of healthcare professionals; vacancy rates; recruiting efforts; the extent to which shortages have compromised quality of and access to care; the importance of healthcare professionals as revenue drivers; and the impact of healthcare reform on hospitals, healthcare professionals and patients.
